Feed my fish!

Think of the mouse as food and click to feed the fish. Multiple clicks makes them crazy! You can also hover your mouse and they will follow it.

Nothing deep here, although the one blue fish has a nice style as a nonconformist ;-)

About the Artwork:
The post image (at the top) is part of my fantasy artwork and was drawn using Vue D’Esprit and a mesh image of an antiquated submarine model. I put some ruins in the distance to give it a sense of direction, but used the defaults to get that underwater effect. The sub is used in several art pieces, along with a zeppelin as they were meant for illustrations in a children’s story I was working on. Yet another project lost to lack of time…but hey, I learned how to draw submarines so it wasn’t a total loss :-p

Military Artwork

My career began in the US Air Force where I had an opportunity to learn so many different things from packing parachutes to designing websites. I also had the chance to fly the jet in the photo, it was the best day of my military career! The artwork in this collection comes from projects I worked on while learning Photoshop and webdesign.

A Walk in the woods is a situational set of questions designed to help you understand how your subconcious mind relates to the feelings and decisions you make about people around you.

(Make sure to answer all 10 questions before jumping to the explanation.)

Read the following questions, imagining the scenes in your mind, and write down the FIRST thing that you visualize. Do not think about the questions excessively.

Imagine you are walking in a forest on a pleasant day. Everything is fine and you feel great…

1. There is someone walking with you, who is it?

2. While you are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal is it?

3. You need to keep going so what interaction takes place between you and the animal?

4. You walk deeper in the woods until you reach a clearing. There in the clearing is your Dream House. Briefly describe its appearance and size.

10. The method used for crossing the water is indicative of how you approach the idea of sex. For example a person who swims is more adventurous than one who finds a boat or walks around the body of water.

Quizes, tests, horoscopes, all stem from the same idea-that everything about you can be revealed from a single point or preferance. I came across a few of these while studying for my bachelors in Psychology and found them to be great conversation starters. Are You Colorblind? I Am!

Are you colorblind? How do you know? I didn’t until a doctor put some dots in front of me while I was undergoing my first military physical. I was 18 at the time and had no idea I was colorblind until that moment. But the dots don’t lie (nor do the numbers show up when you’re colorblind). This one issue affected my military career greatly, it meant I couldn’t be a pilot, mechanic, work in medical fields, forget electronics or nuclear missiles, jet engines…all the cool stuff! Needless to say I didn’t let that stop me from doing many of the things I wanted, (I even flew an F-16 once) and I even became an art hobbyist just to show it’s only a limitation if you accept it as one.

If you want to find out about your color vision, take a look below at the most common test for it…I can only see one out of the six numbers and I see a 2 in that last one at the bottom…and that’s a trick one! Epic Fail! :-0

Ishihara Test for Color Blindness

What numbers do you see revealed in the patterns of dots below?

I am color blind, as is about 12 – 20 percent (depending on whose figures you want to believe) of the white, male population and a tiny fraction of the female population. Most of these circles are nothing but spots to me. Below are the correct answers to what a person with normal color vision would see – and what I see (and most people with Red-Green color blindness). When you see what we can’t see, you may understand why it’s so tough to find the right sox and why we like bright colors, which are more easily identifiable.

The individual with normal color vision will see a 5 revealed in the dot pattern.
An individual with Red/Green (the most common) color blindness will see a 2 revealed in the dots
